Summer Reading 2009-2010
Highland Baptist Christian School does not necessarily endorse all the contents of any book in its library or on its reading lists. It is understood that to meet certain academic standards and to provide books of various fields of research and contents, Highland Baptist Christian School must of necessity utilize books of different genres and subject matters. As school and home work together, parents are encouraged to join with their child(ren) in the selection of reading material from the lists provided, knowing full well that the final choice is that of the parents. The position of Highland is well understood to be in strict adherence to the doctrines and principles taught in God's Holy Word, the Bible.
Grades 2 through 7 - View the choices of book titles from the appropriate lexile score reading list and complete the required grade level assignment(s) below.
Grades 8 through 12 - Complete the required grade / course level assignment(s) below.
**All summer reading assignments, book reports, projects, etc. are due Monday, August 17, 2009**
